Description

As a QA Specialist at Rival Insurance Technology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for creating and executing testing strategies, identifying software problems, analyzing bugs, and collaborating with the software development team to enhance user experience and improve program quality.

Responsibilities:

Execute testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
Provide testing and diagnosis services in support of software code and content development activities, identifying and reporting software defects and anomalies.
Design and create tests to identify software problems, including functional, regression, performance, and usability tests.
Analyze bugs and errors found during tests, including their root causes and potential impact on software functionality and user experience.
Document results of tests for the software development team, including detailed descriptions of identified issues and recommendations for resolution.
Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience, usability, performance, and reliability based on testing results and analysis.
Work together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs, providing feedback and insights to inform the development process.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years in software quality assurance/testing roles, with a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Proficiency in testing techniques and methodologies, including manual and automated testing approaches.
Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software systems and identify root causes of issues.
Insurance Industry Experience Preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
