Role Overview:
As a Sales Executive at Rival Insurance Technology, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing business opportunities. Your role involves understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and building long-term relationships with customers. You will collaborate closely with Client Services, Marketing, and Executive Management to ensure customer satisfaction and promote Rival’s innovative insurance technology products.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and prospect potential new brokers to expand Rival’s customer base.
- Conduct product demonstrations (in-person or via webinars) for new and existing brokers to showcase Rival’s technology solutions.
- Convert leads into customers by understanding their needs and presenting value-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Client Engagement and Support:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients, addressing their questions and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Partner with Client Services to follow up on outstanding client issues, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
- Provide training to customers on new features and enhancements to ensure optimal product usage.
Market Presence and Promotion:
- Attend trade shows and industry functions to represent Rival, build connections, and showcase the company’s offerings.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop sales materials (documents, videos, etc.) that enhance the sales process.
Administrative and Implementation Support:
- Support the onboarding and implementation process for new clients, ensuring smooth transitions and positive experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date expertise on Rival’s products and industry trends to effectively align solutions with client needs.
- Accurately track sales activities and client interactions in CRM tools.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in technology or insurance-related industries.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, along with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales, insurance, or technology.
